Petition to establish term limits for Nevada County supervisors
The proposed initiative (“Measure”) would amend the Nevada County Code by adopting an ordinance to establish a two- term limit for members of the Board of Supervisors. If approved by a majority of Nevada County voters, this Measure would limit any Supervisor whose term begins after January 1, 2027, to no more than two terms in office.
A “yes” vote is a vote in favor of establishing term limits for the Board of Supervisors.
A “no” vote is a vote against establishing term limits for the Board of Supervisors. If the Measure is not approved, the ordinance will not take effect, and there will continue to be no term limits for members of the Board of Supervisors.
